She specializes in data-driven policy and funding request development and is a skilled communicator and facilitator who has planned and executed many high-profile transformational initiatives. Kristin founded Birchwood Consulting in 2021 to focus on her lifelong passions of innovation and entrepreneurship within Ontario’s health and social service sectors.

Roma brings 25-plus years of experience in project management, business development, program evaluation, performance measurement, policy and legal research, and relationship management to our team. She has worked in the public and not-for-profit sectors where she has developed strong interpersonal communication skills that she leverages to build and enhance relationships. Much of Roma’s experience has been on large scale transformational change initiatives involving multiple participants, high profile mandates, service delivery environments and significant policy and legal implications. Roma takes creative and innovative approaches to her work and can present complex technical materials in an easy-to-understand manner that is tailored to her audience.
